About Me Hi! You can call me Sepia, or Teela. 🦑
I'm an artist first and foremost, specializing in furry commission work, though I like to dabble in cosplay and fursuit making as a hobby as well. I just love creating. Agender, mid 90's, infp and type 4 personality, apparently. I prefer Teela or Sepia (in lieu of pronoun), and also accept they / them for pronouns. My main fursona is Teela, secondary sona is Sepia. I'm an artist first and foremost, specializing in furry commission work, though I like to dabble in cosplay and fursuit making as a hobby as well. I just love creating. I love the weird, the unconventional, the alien. Diversity in art is my favorite; exploring the wide array of fantasies and imaginations my commissioners come to me with keeps things fresh and keeps me learning. I am neurodivergent, with autistic tendencies, which mainly affects my ability to socialize, process emotions, and acclimatize to change. I manage to pretty successfully use my quirks to work efficiently and hyperfocus, and to put a lot of emotion into my work, though it can make managing my business difficult for me from time to time, so patience is appreciated. I strive to create a non-judgemental, inclusive and welcoming space with the artwork I put out into the world. The community aspect of the fandom is very important to me, and one of my proudest achievements thus far is the diverse and welcoming circle I've created around me through putting my art and myself out there. My "Sepciety" - those who interact with me or my art regularly or have a home in our group chat through Patreon, makes me proud every day with the awesome, creative, inclusive, and empathetic people they all are and I hope to watch it grow even more. The second most important thing to me regarding my work is keeping a sense of morality at the forefront of what I do in putting furry NSFW content out into the world. I am passionate and loud about stamping out the perpetuation of harmful paraphilias. In who I choose to work with, I steer clear from those who I feel perpetuate regressive, hateful ideologies where I can, or perpetuate harmful paraphilias (such as z**philia, ped*philia). If this upsets you in any way, best to find yourself another artist for your furry art needs!

My Terms of Service contains a detailed list of what I will and will not draw, and also subjects I have skill issues with drawing. I have a set streaming schedule - I work on Waitlist and Artist Choice slots on Mondays, and Patreon-claimed slots on Wednesdays and Fridays, which are completed within the day's stream. Absolutely! - as long as clear credit is given to me as the artist. Linking to my linktree (linktr.ee/sepiaflux) is the best way to credit me. With each commission, I will send a resized version of your piece, the same as what I will publicly upload, to use to reupload anywhere you'd like. Please note uploading full resolution files anywhere publicly is against my T.O.S. as they are exclusive to Patreon and Art Packs. I don't mind if you share full res content with your friends, just don't upload it. what subject matters do you personally enjoy working on?
This casual list includes things that I most happily and most confidently draw, and what I feel my skills really shine through best on as a result. This list may also hint towards commission ideas I will be more likely to personally choose to work on. ★ Aquatic Species Cephalopods, fish, seals, whales, etc.! (kinda excludes the heavily stylized shark characters that are popular in the fandom, sorry!) ★ Trans, intersex, and androgynous characters that are not just fetish characters Think characters designed with the purposeful intent of being transgender in identity. Excludes fetishized characters described as “shemale”, “futa”, “herm”, “c*boy”, etc. ★ Unique, rare, or uncommon species of anthros Think way outside the box; frogs, flamingos, insects, emus, binturongs, geckos. Or characters that are no specific species (i.e. non-horror monsters or aliens) ★ Drawing an established character as a different species, gender, or “were” form ★ Fully SFW “slice of life” pieces ★ Characters that have an established lore or universe to be inspired by ★ Woods, Wilderness, Outdoors types of scenery ★ Taurs (feral-bodied lower half - and not just a generic dog body, species accuracy is fun - i.e. bird taurs!) ★ Dinosaur characters ★ Characters based on videogame/movie/book species or races; Fan Art type material Think Pokemon *usually prefer “original form” over anthro Pokemon designs*, digimon, tauntauns, Na’vi, chocobos, Sangheili, Monster Hunter, World of Warcraft races, etc. ★ Large female characters with a smaller partner Straight or not, femdom or not! ★ My fursonas with a commissioner’s character Preferably SFW, or if NSFW if I know you personally Despite all of this, I sometimes will look for simple character designs/ideas as well. It really depends on what I have drawn lately, and many other factors! So don't feel like you have to fall under any of these criteria to get your idea chosen. why might you reject a commission form?
Most of the time, it's simply because someone else's form interested me more, in a varying degree. If it's not that, then it is probably due to one of the following: Lengthy detailed description of posing: I will *very* rarely choose a form that includes a wall of text, not necessarily because I don't like what's being described, but simply because it's a lot more time consuming to go through a list of pose specifics when I'm sketching to get every detail described right, rather than having more freedom to construct the scene as I can envision it. I've been doing furry commissions for nearly 10 years; I promise trusting me more with the posing will not leave you disappointed! Too many reference material links: If you can draw me a doodle (it can be stick figures) of the scene you're envisioning, this helps me immensely! Especially if you can offer this instead of a wall of text explaining it. Visuals are always better. There's nothing wrong with having a clear vision for your piece! But please, try to do some of the work for me for a better chance of me being on board with your idea, by either making a doodle, or making a collage of other art pieces you like that have similar posing or elements you like. A bunch of separate links for references isn't great; if you don't want to make a collage, you can also have all of the images in an album at least, so I can look at all of the images via one link, i.e. imgur or sta.sh album ★ Here's a great program for making collages! *You can input $0 to get the program for free* [LINK TO PUREREF] I have worked with you before, and know that you are very particular/strict about details: I may have accepted your piece in the past, and throughout the process, had to do a lot of revisions to your piece. If you're choosing me to do your commission idea, I assume it's because you enjoy all aspects of my work; how I draw species, how I pose characters, draw expressions, construct scenes, color, etc. So, to me, asking for an unusually high amount of revisions along the way comes off as that you're trying to achieve something that does not fit my style of work after all. I am certainly used to doing revisions of course, and have no problem with it, but there becomes a point when the relationship with the commissioner and the attitude towards the project changes that I dislike dealing with. I have worked on similar ideas in my previous opening: I know this sucks because seeing pieces I've recently posted makes people want something similar for themselves, however unfortunately if I have just done pieces that are similar to what you would like, I will probably choose something else to do that's different. what programs / tablet do you use?
I work primarily in Paint Tool SAI 2, use Photoshop for the tools SAI 2 is missing, and my tablet is an old Intuos Pro. I stream using OBS! |
