What is a "New Commissioner"?
A "New Commissioner" is one of the following:
  • Has never commissioned art from me before in any way
  • Has only ever received art from me through my special Themed Month slots, and never through a regular commission opening
  • Has only ever had your character(s) in art where you were not the sole commissioner*
*Sole commissioner = who I communicate directly with, who acquired the slot under their FA username or Twitter handle.

Can I submit more than one form for your consideration?

Yes.

Submit as many as you'd like in whatever tiers you would like, or specify in your form in the "Details of Commission" section that you would be ok with getting the idea completed in another tier if I happen to prefer to do it in another, to potentially fit it in better with the rest of my queue.

Are you interested in drawing anything in particular this opening?

No, probably not.

However, you can find my favorite subject matters (Here) at the bottom of the FAQ, as well as in my TOS!

If I am really wanting to draw something in particular, there would be a special discount announced at the top of the journal.

Can I submit a form entry, or enter the Slot Raffle, if I received a commission from you in your last opening?

Yes.

However, I will not personally select a form entry for somebody who got a slot in my previous opening, whether it was through my own pick or if it was a Raffled Slot.

If you did get a commission in the previous opening, and your number is pulled in the Slot Raffle, I will still give you the slot though!

How can I commission you?

I am only open for taking commissions publicly when I post my Opening Journal on FurAffinity.

Every ~2 months, 8 slots are filled; 4 artist's choice, and 4 raffled slots.

My slots are also separated into two pools; repeat commissioners and new commissioners, guaranteeing new commissioners get in every opening.

Keep an eye on my FurAffinity and Telegram Channel for opening news!

⭐️ Check out my Getting a Slot Page for all of the information on how my system works ⭐️

How can I contact you?

You can message me on Telegram for the quickest reply, or shoot me a note on FurAffinity!

Twitter DM's are also fine though I may not see it for a while.

Can I upload my commission to my page?

Absolutely - as long as clear credit is given to me as the artist.

With each commission, I will send a resized version of your piece, the same as what I will publicly upload, to use to reupload anywhere you'd like.

Please note uploading full resolution files is against my T.O.S. as they are exclusive to Patreon and Art Packs.

Will you draw ______?

What program / tablet do you use?

I use Paint Tool SAI 2 primarily, with occasional Photoshop touch-ups, and I use an Intuos Pro tablet.

What subject matters do you personally enjoy drawing?

Many people ask this question to get a better idea of what I will be more inclined to choose personally for commission ideas.

This casual list includes things that I most happily and most confidently draw, and what I feel my skills really shine through best on.

This list may hint towards commission ideas I will be more likely to personally choose to work on.

★ Here's a list of some of my top personal interests:
  • Unique, rare, or uncommon species of anthros - Think way outside the box; cephalopods, frogs, flamingos, insects, binturongs, geckos. Or characters that are no specific species (i.e. non-horror monsters or aliens)

  • Characters based on videogame/movie/book species or races; Fan Art type material - Think Pokemon *usually prefer “original form” over anthro Pokemon designs*, digimon, tauntauns, Na’vi, chocobos, Sangheili, Monster Hunter, World of Warcraft races, etc.

  • Trans, intersex, and androgynous characters that are not just fetish characters - Think top surgery scars, FTM, MTF. Excludes fetishized characters described as “shemale”, “futa”, “herm”, “c*boy”, etc. Think characters designed with the purposeful intent of being transgender in identity.

  • Fully SFW “slice of life” pieces
  • Woods, Wilderness, Outdoors types of scenery
  • Characters that have an established lore or universe
  • Pig characters
  • Taur characters
  • Dinosaur characters
  • Drawing an established character as a different species, gender, or “were” form
  • Large female characters with a smaller partner - straight or not, femdom or not!
  • My fursonas with a commissioner’s character - preferably SFW, or if NSFW if I know you personally
Despite all of this, I sometimes will look for simple character designs/ideas as well.

It really depends on what I have drawn lately, and many other factors!

So don't feel like you have to fall under any of these criteria to get your idea chosen.
And furthermore, you always have a fair randomized shot through my slot raffle that I hold each opening!

I hope this list will give you a general idea of what I find most enjoyable to create :)

Why might you reject a commission form?
Most of the time, it's simply because someone else's form interested me more, in a varying degree. See the section above for more of an explanation!

But here is some explanation for two major things that may turn me away from choosing your commission form:

Lengthy detailed description of posing.

I will very rarely choose a form that includes a wall of text, not necessarily because I don't like what's being described, but simply because it's a lot more time consuming to go through a list of pose specifics when I'm sketching to get every detail described right, rather than having more freedom to construct the scene as I can envision it.

I've been doing furry commissions for nearly 10 years;
I promise trusting me more with the posing will not leave you disappointed!

If you can draw me a doodle (it can be stick figures) of the scene you're envisioning, this helps me immensely!
Especially if you can offer this instead of a wall of text, you're golden.

There's nothing wrong with having a clear vision for your piece at all! But please, try to do some of the work for me for a better chance of me being on board with your idea, by either making a doodle, or making a collage of other art pieces you like that have similar posing or elements you like.

Here's a great program for making collages! *You can input $0 to get the program for free* [LINK TO PUREREF]

A bunch of separate links for references isn't great; if you don't want to make a collage, you can also have all of the images in an album at least, so I can look at all of the images via one link, i.e. imgur or sta.sh album

I have worked with you before, and know that you are very
particular/strict about details.

I may have accepted your piece in the past, and throughout the process, had to do a lot of revisions to your piece.

If you're choosing me to do your commission idea, I assume it's because you enjoy all aspects of my work; how I draw species, how I pose characters, draw expressions, construct scenes, color, etc.
So, to me, asking for an unusually high amount of revisions along the way comes off as that you're trying to achieve something that does not fit my style of work after all.

I am certainly used to doing revisions of course, and have no problem with it, but there becomes a point when the relationship with the commissioner and the attitude towards the project changes that I dislike dealing with.

In my experience, this usually seems to mean that the commissioner sees artists less as someone who they enjoy the work of and want to work *with*, and more like an art machine, someone they commissioned simply because they could get a slot.
People who commission artists like this simply aren't a good fit for me, as I see my work as an extension of myself that I respect and enjoy, and not as a product for profit. It's just not me!

I have worked on similar ideas in my previous opening.

I know this sucks because seeing pieces I've recently posted makes people want something similar for themselves, however unfortunately if I have just done pieces that are similar to what you would like, I will probably choose something else to do that's different.

Other than that, more arbitrary things like simply "not liking" a character's design or thinking a concept is "boring" really matter a lot less, I like drawing a wide range of different characters from humans to ferals! So there's nothing of note with that, aside from seeing what I most enjoy drawing like outlined above to see what I might choose before something else.
